The Love Your Parks Tour is Almost Ready to Roll!

The Love Your Parks Tour is Almost Ready to Roll!

The Big Blend home office in Tucson, Arizona is getting packed up and ready to move out on the first day of spring. A big thank you goes out to Yvonne and John Peach, owners of Historic Coronado Motor Hotel in Yuma, Arizona for once again opening their doors as the Love Your Parks Tour Headquarters.

We will spend a month or so in Yuma, publishing the next  issues of Parks & Travel Magazine and Big Blend Radio & TV Magazine, and of course, getting reacquainted with Yuma's awesome parks, public lands and historic sites. We can't wait to take our morning #OneHourWalks along the lower Colorado River Wetlands!

In May, we head back on the road, with plans in the works to travel up through New Mexico, to get to Greeley, Colorado where we will spend the first week of June. We're going to explore historic downtown Greeley's Creative District, local museums and parks, and the Pawnee National Grassland. Plus, we're going to rock it out at the Greeley Blues Jam!

It's a busy time, and Priscilla, our pink sock monkey travel mascot has decided to step up and take over our Love Your Parks Tour Blog. Stay tuned - she's got plenty of stories to share from phase one of the tour, and will keep you posted on the tour news and itinerary, and all the places we visit and cover on our travels.

Thank you for joining us on our big adventure. Enjoy our new Love Your Parks Tour video!

Back to packing it all up,
Lisa & Nancy, and Priscilla
